Mr Aali Sheen qualified in medicine from the University of Dundee in 1993. Mr Sheen trained in General Surgery in London, Oxford and Manchester following which, he undertook specialised HepatoPancreato-Biliary (Liver, Pancreas and Gallbladder) training in both Manchester and Leeds.
 
Mr Sheen's main clinical interests are diseases of the Liver, Pancreas, Gallbladder and Bile duct. Mr Sheen has also expertise in advanced laparoscopic 'keyhole' surgery and mainly undertakes procedures for the treatment of gallstones and cancers of both the Liver and Pancreas.

Mr Sheen was appointed a Consultant General Surgeon in December 2005 at Manchester Royal Infirmary and has to date, undertaken over 300 laparoscopic cholecystectomy procedures for gallstones and approximately 115 major cancer procedures, involving both the Liver and Pancreas.

Mr Sheen also is a specialist hernia surgeon and has developed a national reputation for the use of 'tissue glue' in 'keyhole' laparoscopic hernia surgery, for more information click here

Mr Sheen will provide a fast track, seamless service for all patients who are referred complaining of Abdominal pain, Hernia, Gallstones, Weight loss, Jaundice, Pancreatitis, and suspected diseases of the Liver and Pancreas.
